Dimsle quickly and efficiently measures large amounts of small things from digital photos that contain one reference object of known size.
Dimsle was originally written to measure thousands of otoliths for a diet study on Snares penguins. But it should work with any kind of (single-coloured) objects.
It's simple. Upload an image of objects you want measured, identify your reference object (we recommend a coin) and download the analysis results in CSV format.
It is free... sort of. It might cost you a couple of gray hairs if you encounter a bug. Dimsle is in its alpha stadium, so feedback is all we ask for. You're welcome to donate, though.
